A quick question

Allright,i am posting this question on my blog for two reasons-firstly an offhanded search in the internet didnt yield satisfactory results and more importantly i wanted to see what you guys had to say about it.One request though-dont go about perusing medical journals for the answer to this.I dont want a medical term for an answer. All right enough said, here goes-
Narcissism-people are called narcissistic when they show a certain degree of self love, allways admiring their pose in the mirror, sort of like Reggie in the Archie comics. But what word would you use to describe someone who cant stop himself /herself from looking at the mirror allways thinking inwardly-"Boy,i can believe how kickass ugly i am.I am so ugly, the word itself will commit suicide in order to avoid being associated with me."Mind you, this is not a mere display of underconfidence, lets imagine the person with this condition is quite confortable in where he/she is in life but just happens to believe that he/she is extremely ugly and/or undertalented and/or mediocre.Calling this the ugly duckling syndrome will be the easiest but i expect you to be more imaginative.Interestingly, the antonym of narcissism in the dictionary is humility.Whosoever reads this post, please do post your thoughts on this.I will await each of your unique input.

Dude, I'd call it 'Tamalism'. You're talking about yourself, aren't you? But it is not a syndrome at all, for in this case, you're bloody right!!! :-)

Hi Tamal,
It would be difficult to beat your previous state. There is rock, sand, 20 feet of shit and then there is you. Though i missed out on the good stuff in it, i think you pretty much get the idea....why are you even considering all this ? I am sure it is not like that you have too much free time on your hands to ponder on such topics of great importance. any way i hope you find your word!
Cheers
Aditya
